The Max van der Stoel Foundation (FMS) was present, through our work in the European Forum for Democracy and Solidarity (EFDS), at the Ukraine Summit - On the path to EU membership and fair recovery, which took place in Kyiv on 7 and 8 November.
The conference brought together people from across Europe and Ukraine - politicians, activists, trade unionists, veterans and young leaders - to discuss Ukraine's future in Europe, social justice and a fair reconstruction of the country.
On behalf of the EFDS, we contributed to talks on how to provide Ukraine with more military support against Russian aggression, but also support the EU accession process and democracy in the country. There were also extensive discussions on Ukraine's social reconstruction.
