Saturday 18 November, the annual Africa Day will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam! For 25 years, this has been the event about Africa in the Netherlands. A day full of workshops, debates, lectures and culture. With a discussion on oil pollution in Uganda with Ugandan climate activist Hilda Flavia Nakabuye, a debate between candidates for the upcoming elections, a literature programme by Boekhandel Athenaeum, and much more. The day will end in the evening with a live music performance and a film screening.

With hundreds of visitors, 20 programmes and speakers from home and abroad, the Africa Day is the biggest event on Africa and international cooperation in the Netherlands. Therefore, the day cannot be organised without the help of enthusiastic volunteers.
