During Africa Day on 14 April, you won't have to be bored during the break either. The soul food, cocktail and poetry bar Labyrinth will host a lunch programme with spoken word.
Labyrinth has a passion for delicious food, drink and spoken word. From these 3 elements, Labyrinth aims to bring people closer together in meaningful ways. Especially for Africa Day, visitors are welcome during lunch to experience a Labyrinth soul food & spokenword event. From 12:45 to 14:15, Africa Day visitors can enjoy a soul food lunch and also listen to both English and Dutch-speaking spoken word artists with a deep connection to the African continent. The theme of this lunch event will focus on Art, Activism and Africa. The artists Labyrinth works with are socially engaged and regularly perform on stage, and most have an African background.
At lunch, you can choose from jerk chicken with jollof rice or paneer of spinach & chickpeas with jollof rice (vegan). Register now on our site and under additional options select the second option ´I will use lunch on the Africa Day and pay €10.00 for a lunch menu´ and select ´Lunch programme by Labyrinth´.
