To everyone who feels involved in the annual commemoration on 16 September at the four trees in the square at Paradise Avenue and Swimming Pool Road.
On 16 September, the eighteenth commemoration will take place at four trees planted in 2008 in Eindhoven. The trees commemorate four prominent figures from Belarus who disappeared without trace in 1999/2000: Anatoly Krasovsky, Viktor Gonchar, Yuri Zakharenko and Dmitry Zavadsky.
Still missing is any official information about their fate. For some years now, we have been organising the commemoration on a more intimate and small scale, gathering in a circle around the "fourth" tree and giving everyone the chance to make their contribution.
Besides a short opening and closing remarks by Valeriya, we would like to give every attendee who wishes to do so the opportunity to say or do something briefly. Form and content are free. What matters is that the heart speaks. If support or preparation is needed, please feel free to contact us. We also ask everyone to bring a flower, possibly with a card and a message, to lay down at one of the trees afterwards. We hope to see you again on 16 September.
