Political Café - Elections in Georgia (with FMS, Roze Netwerk & WECF)

Crucial Georgian parliamentary elections are coming up. That is why the Max van der Stoel Foundation, together with the Pink Network in the Labour Party and WECF, is organising a political café on Friday 25 October!

Together with MEP Kim van Sparrentak, researcher Amy Eaglestone and WECF activist Shorena Vashadze we are going to talk about the Georgian political situation. We will talk about the recently passed anti-LHBTI law and the implications for Georgia's EU membership. With parliamentary elections a day away, it promises to be make or break for the country. The evening will be facilitated by FMS trainer and Roze Netwerk member Rowdy Boeyink.

Always wondered about Georgian politics? And how NGOs and LGBT activists continue their work there in the current climate? Then sign up quickly via this link, stop by and ask the guests your questions!

The evening will take place in a special café setting in the PvdA The Hague office at Stationsweg 10a. During the walk-in from 19:30 there will be coffee and tea with some goodies. After the talk, you can chat with the speakers and attendees over drinks and snacks.
