Africa Day 2025: A New Global Order - Tickets now available!

Africa Day, the largest event in the Netherlands on Africa and international cooperation, returns on Saturday 15 November 2025 at Pakhuis de Zwijger Amsterdam. This year, Africa Day celebrates a special milestone: the 30th edition!

The theme of 2025 is "Africa in a New World Order". As global powers vie for influence, African countries are claiming their place on the world stage as influential political, economic and cultural actors. Africa Day provides a platform to discuss these changes and reflect together on equitable cooperation, equal partnerships and real ownership.

The programme reflects this new dynamic. Partners such as Cordaid, FEPS, CNV, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and WECF organise sessions on topics such as reclaiming civil space, decolonising health security, EU-Africa relations and ecofeminist solutions with global impact. Speakers include prominent voices such as South African diplomat and politician Ebrahim Rasool, as well as several Dutch and European parliamentarians.

Africa Day is more than dialogue and debate. Visitors can experience the inspiration market Discover, a live recording of The Africast attend, meet authors during signing sessions and enjoy music, literature and performances spread throughout the day.

Whether this is your first Africa Day or your 30th, you are cordially invited to join the conversations that matter and the connections that remain.

Tickets are on sale now at Africaday.co.uk. Be there on Saturday 15 November 2025 and share in the conversations and encounters that matter.
