The Foundation Max van der Stoel (FMS) is an independent foreign foundation affiliated to the PvdA. We work for democratisation in the EU's neighbouring countries, a fairer Dutch and EU policy towards the Global South, and we stimulate public debate on these issues in the Netherlands.<\/p>
